TNT SPORTS EXTENDS UK PREMIER LEAGUE RIGHTS UNTIL 2029

  • 52 exclusively live matches per season from 2025/26 to season 2028/29
  • TNT Sports will continue to show Saturday lunchtime kick offs and two mid-week rounds per season

  • discovery+ remains the streaming home of TNT Sports’ Premier League coverage alongside broad distribution of TNT Sports on Sky, BT and Virgin Media

Following today’s announcement by the Premier League in the U.K, we are pleased to confirm that TNT Sports will continue to show live and exclusive Premier League matches for a further four years, through to the 2028/29 season. Starting from the 2025/26 season, the continuing Premier League rights sit alongside a comprehensive premium sport offering that today includes the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League and National League, domestic and European club rugby, MotoGP, NBA, UFC and boxing. 

TNT Sports will continue to show Saturday lunchtime kick offs and two mid-week rounds per season.

Today’s agreement extends the relationship with the Premier League to 16 years spanning BT Sport and TNT Sports. The 50:50 BT and Warner Bros. Discovery Joint Venture was formed on 1 September 2022. Warner Bros. Discovery manages the operation of the JV. 

So far during the 2023/24 season, TNT Sports is reaching more viewers than ever before with Premier League reach up by 8% year on year. TNT Sports is available on discovery+ and across all major TV platforms including BT TV, Sky and Virgin.
