Alex Corretja is a two-time Grand Slam finalist who was runner-up at Roland-Garros in 1998 and 2001.

The clay-court specialist won 17 career titles in a 14-year professional career reaching a high of world number two in the ATP rankings in 1999. Corretja won the ATP Tour World Championships in 1998 and is one of the few players in the game to hold a winning record against Roger Federer.

After retiring from tennis in 2005, Corretja coached Andy Murray for three years before assuming the role of captain of the Spanish Davis Cup team in 2012 and 2013.

Corretja joined Eurosport as on-court interviewer, commentator and studio analyst in 2015.
